My Cuisinart Grind and Brew has begun leaking water underneath the unit as it is brewing.

I've had the same leaking issue with mine since I got it in 2006! I haven't been that concerned about it, but maybe I should be! I have been more annoyed that the door pops open while in mid brew spilling out everywhere unless I'm there to make sure it stays closed. And also the hot plate has never been hot! I should have returned it in the first year but I was just too busy. I've forced myself to keep using it because it was so expensive. Now it does not brew all the water in the tank so I have to repeat the brew 2 or 3 times to complete the pot. Pretty disappointed that I put this coffee pot on my wedding registry. I have the same problems with mine - the water leak has gotten much worse so I'm replacing the coffee pot this month. I've also had issues with the door popping open while grinding.
