I've had the same leaking issue with mine since I got it in 2006! I haven't been that concerned about it, but maybe I should be! I have been more annoyed that the door pops open while in mid brew spilling out everywhere unless I'm there to make sure it stays closed. And also the hot plate has never been hot! I should have returned it in the first year but I was just too busy. I've forced myself to keep using it because it was so expensive. Now it does not brew all the water in the tank so I have to repeat the brew 2 or 3 times to complete the pot. Pretty disappointed that I put this coffee pot on my wedding registry. All I've seen on the internet is that Cuisanart will do nothing about any issues. How is your issue being handled? Thanks.

I have the same problems with mine - the water leak has gotten much worse so I'm replacing the coffee pot this month. I've also had issues with the door popping open while grinding. I usually have to hold it closed.

How to fix the leak from the bottom of my cuisinart dgb-900bc

Re: Cuisinart grind and brew model DGB900BC leaking from the bottom. Finally fixed it before buying a new one. Remove the 4 torq screws (#10 bit check auto stores) from the bottom and remove the bottom. You will see a horse shoe shaped metal coil that heats the water from the resevoir. I found that the coil had a small hole in it. Cleaned it well and applied a coat of epoxy paste to the leaking area ( I used a product called PC11 from Ace) So far, no leaks, and the coffee maker is working like new.

Cuisinart grind and brew--water does not come down

If the water is not coming out of the filter basket, and is instead leaking over the edges, then replace the brew basket.

If there is no water at all, call Cuisinart - those coffee makers have a 3-year warranty.

Leaks everywhere

Make sure the lid is on the caraffe and just try to run plain water through. Although, it sounds like you might actually have a crack/leak. Return to store if possible or call Cuisianrt if it really is leaking.

Cuisinart grind and brew

This happens when the machine needs cleaned. Fill coffee maker with white vineger instead of water. Turn grind off, make sure empty pot is in place. Brew a pot of hot vineger. Repeat. Brew a pot of hot water. Repeat. This process removes mineral buildups inside machine. If you have access to filtered water, start using that to brew your coffee. I do and probably do this process 1 per 6 weeks.

Leaking cuisinart grind and brew

Our Cuisinart grind and brew was leaving a puddle under it after making a pot of coffee. I called Cuisinart this week and it turns out the handle of the carafe has to be lined up in the middle of the opening for the carafe. It will be under the word Cuisinart, in the middle.

We have now made several pots with NO residual puddle of water or coffee. It also seems to be making the pots quicker.

Before trying this I had run 2 pots of water with 1/2 cup white vinegar in it also. But it still puddled until we lined up the carafe as noted above.
