Singer manufactured many of the White sewing machine manuals. Thus, Singer has the manual for the White 666 as a PDF on their support page, https://www.singer.com/support . The current link to the manual is https://www.singer.com/sites/default/files/product_manual/801_white-666-793-x.pdf .

Instruction Manual White 1780

Hi Catherine,
I'm not sure if this is the manual you need, but there's a free one for a white 1740 "quilters" model available through the Singer website, strange as it may seem. (In fact you can find free manuals for many White brand sewing machines via the Singer website.)

Look under Singer's "Support and Resouces" then select "Instruction manuals" , or follow this link: http://www.singerco.com/support/instruction-manuals

On the Instructions Manual page you'll see it says "Find Your Manual - Step 1, Step 2 etc etc" and under that there's a search box that says "Model Number"

Into this search box just type "w"
(don't type "white", because that doesn't work)

You'll be taken to a near incomprehensible results page but scroll down and you'll see there are two listed as W1740

The next page will be a list of White machines with manuals available. They may not have the exact model (as in my case), but there will be a similar one. I had to email White-Viking to be redirected to Singer....
