I assume that you already try this monitor on another PC to verify that the problem is in the monitor, in this case you need to open it up and inspect the fuse, transitors, solder connections on the power/inverter board, see failed Dell monitors here for guide: http://s807.photobucket.com/home/budm/allalbums Post back what you see inside so we can guide you further.
actually if u repair an aoc monitor alone without getting connected to cpu once u switch on the monitor all led's will lit on ( green light ) it will remain on situation until u connect the vga connector to cpu that's the time led's will lit off and only the power led will remain in green condition.some aoc 5en once u power on power led is in green condition and if not connected to cpu it will be in orange condition.hope u get some idea but i am not sure if it will work with ur monitor. but as long as LEDs lit on i think no problem with ur monitor.
it could be th epower supply and it could be the monitor.
power ON button should not flash orange regardless what you do. it should stay green. then orange. not orange to green to orange.
try the monitor on another PC if you can fine one.
the other thing is are the 2 monitor similar (CRT to CRT and LCD to LCD), you can't mix the the two, they will work but need different video driver to function correctly.

Use a reset sequence on the monitor-
1. turn off monitor
2. unplug power
3. plug power back in, holding down the last button on the left, then push
the power button to turn back on and off three times, holding on the third try
until it comes on- hold for ten seconds and release; the monitor should work
again
Make sure it is plugged into a computer with a working video card. If error code is still there you have a main board problem. Who is the manufactorer?
hi, does the three lights blink only after u connect it to a display card??if yes then check if any of the connecter pins are damaged, or check out the display card..bye let me know
Are the settings on the video output correct? Is there a green or orange light illuminated. There is a difference between the Power LED and the Signal LED which is green. If you have no signal the LED will remain orange or yellow but not green. If the LED is green, then a signal is getting from the PC but not necessarily good. Check the signal with another monitor or TV if you can. Check the cable.
