When dehumidification operation is set by remote controller, the intake air temp.is detected and the setting temp.is automatically set according to intake air temp. expl. Intake temp.78.8 set point will be 77. When intake air temp.is 2deg.below the setting temp.the indoor fan operates at iow speed or stops. It is just a way to controlle humitity rater than just temp. Some systems reach setpoint before enough humitity is removed, making house feel stuffy,or damp.

I need to replace a Carrier SYSTXCCUID01-A thermostat. I can't find a -A on eBay, but there are -B's for sale. Is the B compatible with my system?

You likely have dehumidification enabled. Although temp is satisfied humidity set point is not. Adjust humidity set point, over cooling set point, or just disable!!

I have a lots of humidity so do I use the cool setting or dry one .....

With dry mode you lose control of precision temperature control. In my opinion, use cooling mode with a low fan speed for maximum dehumidification AND temp control.

I have misplaced my manual for my Kenmore c120 air conditioner. I have always used it for an air conditioner and would like to use the de humidifier mode. Do I use it exaclty the same way, just change...

Well a lesson for you here . the ac mode is a dehumidifer mode .. without a fan to pull the air over the coils to dry it it kinda hard to well .. get it dry. I am not trying to sound wise just a point of learning for you. I thnk you will be fine if you put it in the dehumidifer mode.

My dehumidifer collect water but the fan blows hot her so it makes the room hotter

This may be caused by running the unit in continuous mode, rather than timed mode. The heat is generally is generated when the defrost mode cycles on, to defrost the cooling coils. This happens more frequently, if the air space around the unit is obstructed or it's operating in a temperature range of 40 to 60 F. Cleaning the air intake filter at least once a week, can help solve this problem, too.

Maintain a minimum of 12" free air space around all sides of the dehumidifier. Use a timed mode rather than a continuous mode. Make sure the room is within the proper operating temperature range and clean the air intake filter weekly.

Hope this helped you troubleshoot and solve the problem.

I have a 1.5 hp kelvinator wall mounted air cond.It has three button (cool, fan, and dry)If I want to get the room really cold what is the best button to push

Hi,
The best button to push for that is the cool button, then turn the thermostat all the way to cold.
The fan button will only move air around and will do no cooling.
The dry button is for dehumidification, in this mode the unit will run a low speed fan over the cooling coil to take the water out of the air.

So for cooling your best option is to push the cool button and crank down the thermostat...

FEDDER'S PORTABLE UNIT SAYS STOP. WONT RUN

Disconnect power to the unit and reconnect. If "stop" is still on the display you will probably need a qualified technician to trouble shoot. The best mode is the snowflake (cooling). The rain drop is dehumidification which can cause condesation on unit.
