We recently had to reformat our OS and reinstall everything but we seem to have misplaced the installation CD for the Boston BA745 speakers (if there was one). The speakers work but there is only one channel playing and the subwoofer won't work. Is there anything I can do to fix it?

there are components for everything now a days. so if you really want to hook them up then the answer is yes. but for really good dvd sound buy proper dvd surround speaker set up inc sub, you wont be disapointed..
I don't believe it is the speakers.
You need to reload the drivers for the sound card, then your speakers should work.
What brand and model computer do you have?
If it is a gateway, go to gateway.com, then drivers, then enter your tag number and all your drivers for your machine will appear. It's the same for all the other brands as well.
U may have un installed your sound card. find your product driver disc that came with your computer and install the sound card drivers. if you do not have the CD, go to the product website that made your sound card and get the relivent drivers. Hope this helps :)
you should'nt need a driver for the speakers, you just plug it in the sound port, unless you dont have a sound card driver, let me know weather you need a sound card driver , cheers
