The wobbling front wheel problem is easily solved. Simply remove the two philips screws from the plastic cap covering the from wheel assembly on the foot plate. (Where the break cable goes into the swivel tube) Now tighten up the large black nut with a spanner, replace the black cap and your done!

I have a jane slalom pro my front wheel is driving me mad it is wobbling so much that my pram will not move forward sometimes, any help would be appreciated.

We have this problem with our powertwin when my toddler is not riding in the front and I only have the baby in the carseat at the back. There is not enough weight at the front to keep the front wheel firm on the ground. I solve the problem by switching the front wheel from swivel mode into locked mode whenever I only have the baby in the pushchair. But I switch it back as soon as my toddler gets in the front since its impossible to navigate with a fixed front wheel when the pushchair is fully loaded.

Approximately 20kg is said to be the upper weight limit or four years old depending on how comfortably they fit in the chair.

Problem with front wheel of jane 3-wheeler stroller

The front wheel swivel has become a problem with some strollers that are a little longer than the standard three wheel stroller. This has been happening with the new Phil & Ted's Vibe as well.

This can be approached in a few different ways. The easiest is to take the wheel off completely and properly lube the connection pieces. You can use a standard axle grease, or WD40 if you have some in your home. When the tire is properly lubed, re-attach it. This should take care of the problem.

If that does not work, the wheel's inner tube might be/have been over-inflated. When this occurrs, a part of the tube bubbles and causes the wheel to wobble while being pushed. Deflate the tire slightly and see if this helps. If the tube has been over-inflated for some time, it may be necessairy to completely replace the tube - you can do this at most bike shops that sell replacement tubes.

If this does not stop the tire from wobbling, please feel free to contact us anytime.
