Why my screen went bright white? I was playing a Wii game, and the graphics begin to bounce and stack. I thought the problem was with my game or my wii console, so I tried to restart my wii. My next step was to power off my wii console, so I did. Normally when I am in the video 2 imput and i disconnect a blue screen reading "no signal" appears untill i change the imput for my cable. Once I powered off my wii, my tv screen continute to bounce and than turned bright white. I can not change the imput. I trestarted my tv and a grey screen appears than immedietly changes to bright white screen. I try to push the volume, channel, and imput button but nothing appears on my screen. I can only power on and off. Why is my screen bright white?

SOURCE: Only see a blue screen ...

Hi, The bluescreen is an indicator of "lack or absence of a video signal". In TV mode this would only come on if your reception quality is so poor that the TV "thinks" there is more interference/noise than intelligent video signal nd therefore mutes the video. In all other modes, (S Video, A/V Video etc), again, this muting action will result in the bluescreen if the TV "thinks" it is not receiving any video input. To try and fix this would either be: 1. Check and verify that you have a video signal coming into the TV by trying your video source (DVD, cable box) into another TV unit; or 2. Check and verify that your connectors at the back of the TV and the source are properly connected and are snug/fitted properly. If both fails, it is possible that you have component failure inside the TV and that would require the services of a qualified TV professional. Hope this be of help/idea. Post back how things turn up or should you need further information. Good luck and kind regards.

SOURCE: 37" Polaroid LCD TV No signal appears when select channel

I was having same problem, and think I got lucky and found fix.

Try unplugging the TV and waiting 30 seconds, then plug back in.

You will likely get blue screen with "No Signal".

Go to Menu, then scroll down to "Setup". Select "Factory Reset" then hit "Yes."

This did it for me. Wish you all luck.

Wii plays in black and white

Access your TV's menu screen and be sure that your TV screen is expecting input from "AV" or "Video". If you have "S-Video" selected, this is the cause of why your Wii is playing black and white.

Not able to select HD on my Wii setup screen

Well see if it happens again, it may have been a one time thing. but try reconnecting the AV cables to the tv or change the picture settings on the wii setup options.
But this is important, is the picture grainy, or is there vertical black lines? if its black lines, i have the same problem and the only way to fix it is to send it to nintendo and theyll give u a new console. its due to overheating and the graphics card gets fried
