What's your Network provider?
You can try to insert another carrier SIM card.Then only you can enter special code. After you can follow the below steps:
1 - Switch ON your phone with a not allowed SIM Card,
2 - Phone show "Enter Special Code",
3 - You can now enter the Unlock Code. If you want to unlock code. You can visit OnlineGSMUnlock.com here specify your Network provider,Country,IMEI..After they will send the permanent unlock code with free instructions through your E-mail..Then you can use this code to easily unlock your mobile..
you dont have to do anything at all. Just put your sim card in and go. I580 or any other motorola IDEN phone will only work on IDEN networks like (boost,nextel,mike,telus) It will never work for any other carriers no matter what you do.
Motorola IDEN phones will not work with any other carrier other then boost,nextel,mike,telus (IDEN networks) sprint,att,verizon,tmobile and most other cell providers run on GSM or CDMA. They run on a completely different band
I called Boost support about the same issue and I was told that that particular phone and any other Ic series phone by motorola will not work with Boost Mobile. There was also a few other phones that will not work. Try calling thier support line and requesting the list of phones that won't work. Good luck.
There is no special code for this issue. The T-Mobile sim card is not compatible with the Nextel phone because they are two different carriers and work off of different networks.
The phone is locked to your carrier. An unlock code must be entered to use the SIM of another carrier in the phone. Check with boost for an unlock code. There are also tons of unlock calculatrs out there, but be careful ... if the wrong code isentered too many times the phone will be permanently locked to boost.
