My lg bl40 still thinks its got headphones in it. ive turned it off and removed the battery and its still the same. what should i do?

I solved the problem .. the secret is to take a ear cotton ball and put it into your phone jack and spin it up and down until moisture dirt and dust will be cleaned ... do this until the phone will return to normal ... no service needed ... good luck

This really annoyed me too, i had the same problem, took me a bit of playing around with it to fix it. Dont take it to teh shop do this.
1. Click on the blue dice at the bottom, and then from the entertainment section go to FM radio.
2. touch listen via

Go to the shop where you bought the phone or to the nearest service centre and get the problem fixed at no cost at all.

    You can also try the reset factory settings in the dedicated menu or try it by the secret service menu. (type the following characters into the dialling screen 3845#*40# and then tap reset factory settings) I hope it helps. Have a nice further day :-)

You need to master reset the phone, you can do this by Settings > Phone settings > Reset settings

Battery is running down within 2hrs
I guess i know few things that could cause such battery shottage.
1. did you fully charge the battery the first time you got your beautiful Lg bl40 phone before using?

2.Find out if you left the bluetooth on or if there are so many applications running, while u play movies or listen to music

3. check if you often leave your phone in high hit temperature

4.turn off the vibration you get when you touch the screen, this can also help to save the battery

My lg bl40 turned itself off durin the night on a low battery, wont charge up or turn on.
This has happened to me too and I found that if you charge it from a desktop computer instead of the wall then it will work and come back on. I did this multiple times and it works everytime. Hope it helps.
