If i bye the new one.
It will support or not?
Hey ROY_GV,
This D101GGC Motherboard supports both IDE and SATA.
Regards,
InfDev
It will fit.
Serial ATA IDE or serial ATA SATA drives are all the same in size. Understand that you're motherboard can only support serial ATA SATA drives which does support (1.5 GB/s) drives.
It does not support the faster serial SATA drives of
(3.0 GB/s).
See page 17 in you're manual.
Cheers'
Mike
Hello, there it seem to me that you have a little problem, i think p4 computers supported IDE devices and not SATA devices, if you buy a new 500 gb HD i think it will not because 500 gb HD use SATA cables and not IDE.. hope this will help
