My drill wont reverse

If it will not do reverse then it is in the switch not the wiring if you call the factory they can send you a wiring diagram by mail are they can e-mail it to you

I just replaced the switch on a Milwaukee 0228-1 3/8" hole shooter, and now the drill motor runs great in reverse, but when I switch it over to the forward direction, it runs slow and the field coils...

sounds like the switch is bad and needs replaced, You can go to Dewaltservicenet.com and type in your model number to find a replacement switch, If you do it yourself make sure to write the wiring down first, the switch might be polarity sensitive.
