To = Thermistor Open error.

The Thermistor resistance is very high.

Check for:
- Clogged lint screen.
- Restricted vent system.
- Check Thermistor resistance.

Replace themistor if out of range.

I have Samsung gas dryer model DV410. no heat, replaced two thermal fuse and hi low limit. Now it only works with timed cycle mode. the rest mode, it runs only for least the 5 minutes and shut off.

timed cycle mean dryer not on sensor dry mode. check wire connection on moisture sensor bars (i think you forget to put 2 wire connector put together). when you use other cycle dryer use moisture sensor to dry cloths so sensor not working dryer will stop in 5 minutes or so because dryer think there are no wet cloths to dry. hope this help you.

End of cycle keeps beeping even after clothes are finished and removed

this could range from a simple processor hanging problem to a defective pcb

please start from a hard reset by leaving the unit plugged off from wall power for one night

I have a aeg washer/dryer- it washes fine but then I have problems drying Any idea how I can solve this? problem

Please start with your clothes after the washer finishes it's washing cycle.
Take them out and see how dry they are.
They should be nearly dry.
If not, perhaps the reason you are having problems is they are too wet to begin with for the dryer to properly do it's job..
This is not a rare problem.
One possible reason for the clothes not to be dry when the washer finishes is a loose or worn out belt under the washer.
Another problem some washers have, particularly washer/dryer combos, is that they are sometimes not very effective.
In that case, either smaller loads or rerunning the spin cycle at the end of the washing cycle might help you.
God bless your efforts.

Water building up during the dry cycle and clothes getting wetter

1) Make sure wash cycle is 100% finished (sometimes dryer will start before - usu on synthetic cycle & allows water to continue flowing in)

2) Manually start the dry cycle after you ensure wash cycle is finished and push in the wash cycle button.

Hope that helps! If not, you may need a new control module (I did - hope you don't!)

Clothes do not dry completely on one cycle

Check your dryer vent (the entire length) for lint build-up. Check that the vent is opening properly (the flapper type can come loose and block air-flow).

Those are the most common reasons for an inefficient dryer.

I hope this helps.

(we have had the vent get blocked by the flapper)

I have a Bravos clothes dryer and when the cycle is finished, it is very damp, wet and the clothes are not dry. What can I do?

This dryer automatically starts in the "sensor dry" mode. DO NOT use the "sensor dry" mode - use the timed cycle where you manually set the time. The sensor is in the back of the drum, and it frequently misreads the wetness of the clothes, especially if there is a t-shirt or something light in the back and towels or something heavy in the front (near the door). If you are still under warranty, you can have the sensor replaced (or purchase one), but it only helps slightly.

Why wont my machine start drying?

I called Whirlpool on 08706008989. The machine can only dry half a load of washing at a time. At the end of the washing cycle, the Programme dial should be at either the sun or half sun symbol. Remove half the washing, set the drying time via the drying time dial and press the 1/2 Load Dryer button - Voila dry clothes!

Black marks

throw a clean pair of old sneakers in the dryer with the clothes. this should not allow the clothes to stay in one place during the entire dry cycle
