WD-62525 PROBLEM TV turn on have sound,but no picture? look on the lamp it turn on for about 30 seconds then go away. green led is on,fans is running,replaced new lamp .it is same problem please help what is it?

Remove lamp door and check lamp.

not sure but check internal fan is functioning correctly...I had same problem with a hitachi

Your tv would turn on if you replace the only two 3300µf@16v capacitors on the power board . You wil notice they are bad by the way they bulge up at the top and may be leaking electrolyte a little from the tops . But the rolling lines would still remain but much less noticable.Then other symptoms will eventually appear. Truth is many many many many other capacitors need to be replaced inside the electrical chassis. Your TV would need to go to a repair shop that is expierienced in that repair because it is so extensive.

If you have a green blinking LED that runs continuosly, its the widespread problem of failures of capacitors on several circuit boards in the TV. Currently Mits is having authorized service centers remove the chassis and send it them for rebuilding. Its an expensive and time consuming repair.

Capacitor failure is the most likely scenario the FMT ans Signal PWB would cause the picture interference and the power pwb would cause the lamp light to turn red and give a 34 code when the device/ input and menu buttons are pressed in together and held for five seconds. That chassis has issues with every board in the chassis having failed capacitors you can get repair kits for the V26 chassis at the follwing link that come with instructions. There is a tiny reset button to the left of the timer light. Press with a pin or something small, wait 60 seconds. Viola!

I looked up the manual online - after you replace the bulb, you need to reset the bulb life timer. Using the TV remote push the menu button, SETUP menu, select the lamp reminder option to reset the hours to zero. That might help the status indicators.

your lamp is out call mits and get a new lamp and only buy from mits!!!

Here's something that might also be useful. After you turn on the set, and get the regular red blinky lights, hold down the Device and Menu buttons together for about 5 seconds.
The Power light will start to flash in a two digit sequence.

For example, 3 flashes, then 7 flashes = 37.

Here are the error codes, and the corresponding problem:

12 = No error detected, check power supply.
32 = Lamp Cover is open.
33 = Air filter cover is open.
34 = Lamp abnormality
36 = Light Engine (DMD or Lamp Fan stopped)
37 = Exhaust or Lamp Ballast Fan stopped
38 = Lamp Temperature High
39 = DMD Temperature High
41 = Short is detected
44 = DVI cable between FMT and Engine disconnected
