Sorry this tv it is not repairable because the tv Plasma screen panel itself it is the tv problems and the causes,this tv only can be repair by replace the whole new tv Plasma screen panel itself only not practical.Because the tv Plasma screen panel are 90% inportant to the tv functions and the cost of the tv.By replacing the tv Plasma screen panel will cost the same as a new tv.

You have problem with the screen board this is located on the top and corner of your screen. The slight solution to do this is try resetting the connector on the main board and the screen board and the screen. it might works or not. Or re-soldered the part on the screen. If the symptoms look for service personnel to do it for you.

Hi, If the warrenty is still good bring it back to where you bought it. In time the screen will go totally black. So replace it. Good luck.

I'm sorry you have not been given a clear answer on how to repair your TV. Hi there, Im Kanth, i had the same problem, and i found a person in Mississauga, they fix all kind of problems in Plasma, they fixed my LG before a 7 months, its still running good, i came to know lots of ppls were having same problems, i sujest u to being the plasma to electronics @ Dixie and Britannia Mississauga, call them now 905 565 6595 or check there wesite for more info. http://dukeelectronic.com

I also have the same problem I phoned Samsung today to explain the tv was only 14 months old, they didn't wanna no because it was out of warrenty by 2 months. I am getting a black solid line down the left hand side of the screen. I ended up phoning Dixons were we bought it from, they have told me to get an independent engineers report done & send the report to them within 14 days. Dixon told me it was a known problem with Samsungs. They said they will fix it free of charge if they can if not they will send vouchers to the same value of the television. So beware stay clear of Samsungs.

from the model number you have a 42" set,,the v_set and v_scan voltages need to be set 15vdc lower..this should take care of it,,if not then the plasma panel is bad

some of these panels were mis-calibrated from the factory after not aging long enough. Let the TV run for atleast 2 hours and adjust the Vs and Vscan voltages. When it is blue in the left I have found generally the Vs is about 10 volts too high.
