My itouch wont let me connect to safarri or use the wifi on any applications, even though my touch says its hooked up to the server and i have full signal. it was fine yesterday. everytime i try to search, the screen gets coated a transparent black and it says its connecting, but it never does. help please?
Do the followings
settings>>wifi>>you will see a blue arrow button next to the connection press that.
if you see the 1st 4 lines full with some number and writings then it is ok or else scroll down and press renew lease or/and try to connect using another network.
let me know the result.

that means your itouch is perfect the problem is with your wifi access point. do the above steps again but instead of "RENEW LEASE" press "forget" and try to reconnect. or use another access point. that should do the trick
access point means the router or connection you are using. did you try with another wifi network?
reset it or ask the manufacturar

I had exactly the same. I tried everything but no joy. Eventually I fixed it by changing the router's encryption from WEP to WPA2-PSK. Fixed it like magic. Where there had been no router or DNA data before, they were suddenly filled in. The key was different but was still on the bottom of the router. I had to re-enter the key on my wireless laptop but that was a small price.
You can get into the router set-up page through your web browser. I found a guide on You Tube.

only 2 of the lines are filled, but i cant fill the 3rd one, and i dont know what goes in those lines. plus the renew lease doesnt work either, its still "invalid argument" :/

i have tried to forget and then reconnect, and it reconnects but it has the same problem.
what should i do to my router?
and i cant access other networks without a password. :/
