How to you connect to the serial port to a DSR2010?

the 2010 is a legacy KVM DSR, and you might not have the same features that are present on the 8035 model. the settings to connect to the 2010 with a NullModem cable are 9600, 8, none, 1, none (same as Cisco settings).

The 8035 comes with a special adaptor which is DB9 to RJ45 and it comes in the box.

I hope that answers your question.

As far as console logs goes, no such thing on the DSR line.

Cannon-3300 Copier Error code E000-0000 rectify the problem

E000 0000
The reading of the main thermistor does not reach 30°C 1 sec after the main
power switch is turned on. Or, it does not reach 70°C 2 sec thereafter.

Main cause:
The fixing film unit is faulty. The main thermistor has an open circuit. The
fixing heater has an open circuit. The main power supply PCB is faulty. The
DC controller PCB is faulty.

Caution:
To reset the error, execute the following in service mode:
COPIER>FUNCTION>CLEAR>ERR.

Action:
1. Connector
Is the connector of the fixing assembly connected?
a. main power supply PCB (J8) <-> relay connector <-> heater
b. DC controller PCB (J320) <-> relay connector <-> thermistor
NO: Connect the connector.

2. Fixing film unit (thermistor)
Check the interval between pin 1 and pin 2 and between pin 3 and pin 4 of
the connectosr (4-pin) of the thermistor for electrical continuity. Is it ¥W
(open)?
YES: The heater has an open circuit, or the thermal switch is open. Replace
the fixing film unit.

4. Main power supply PCB, DC controller PCB.
Press the Start key. Is the drive voltage of the heater supplied by the connector
J8 of the main power supply PCB?
Main heater: between J8-1 (FSR1) and J8-5 (FSR COM)
Sub heater: between J8-3 (FSR2) and J8-5 (FSR COM)
YES: The heater drive power supply is faulty. Replace the main power
supply PCB.
NO: The thermistor control mechanism is faulty. Replace the DC controller
PCB.

I HAVE A CANON IR 3300 MACHINE I HAVE ERROR E00000-000

WHAT: Either the main thermistor doesn't attain 30?C 1 second after the power switch is activated or it doesn't attain 70?C 2 seconds thereafter.

WHY: It has a faulty fixing film unit, lack of connectivity with the main thermistor, lack of connectivity with the fixing heater, a faulty main power supply PCB, or the DC controller PCB is faulty.

NOTE: You can reset the error by performing the following in service mode: COPIER>FUNCTION>CLEAR>ERR.

CONNECTOR FIX: Make sure that the connector of the fixing assembly is seated.
A. main power supply PCB (J8) relay connector heater
B. DC controller PCB (J320) relay connector thermistor

FIXING FILM UNIT (THERMISTOR) FIX: With a multimeter, check the interval between pin 1 & pin 2 & between pin 3 & pin 4 of the connector (4-pin) of the thermistor for electrical continuity. A result of ?? means that the circuit is open (lack of connectivity). Resolve this by replacing the fixing film unit.

MAIN POWER SUPPLY PCB, DC CONTROLLER PCB FIX: Press the Start key. If the drive voltage of the heater is supplied by the connector J8 of the main power supply PCB, then the main power supply PCB should be replaced. If not, then the thermistor control mechanism is faulty & the DC controller PCB should be replaced. Use the following to ascertain this:
Main heater: between J8-1 (FSR1) & J8-5 (FSR COM)
Sub heater: between J8-3 (FSR2) & J8-5 (FSR COM)

I need the pinout for the serial cable? RJ45 to DB9

f211598.png This is for a newbridge or alcatel 3624 mainstreet channelbank - do not use the modem side, only use the terminal side - all is needed is Rx, Tx, and ground - if looking from the "window" side of rj45 connector, or pins-side up on rj45 socket.

J8 Error Code

There are a few different part numbers for those cartridges, the chip on them bills differently.
A J8 means although you have a 212 cartridge, it has a chip on it that does not match your machine setup.
A J8 indicates a mismatch in the cartridges and the machine. No you do not have the wrong physical cartridge, it just has a different chip on it.

NewBridge 3600 Mainstreet

Hello

The pinout is determined by the serial port you are plugged into. Are you using serial port 1 or 2. This is pinout from a standard DB9 PC serial port should get you into SP1.
