Problem with p4014n laserjet printer

this code comes from defective power supply or dc controller

It means that the laser beam of your printer is not detected.

If its connected through net work try with lj 4200 drivers..

First tray to print from tray1 (bypass), if it's ok then
do firmwareupgrade if the machine has firmware available. If, afteryou upgrade the firmware, you get a 50.9 error for fuser overtemp, then youneed to replace the fuser after checking all connections on the DCC and fuser.

download the driver / software from hp website.
if your system is connected to the network / router, your system should recognize your laptop or another system (same workgroup).
add new printer see if the system recognizes else. add the printer by providing the printer ip address. (test print from your printer and will provide the ip address)
