Jet dry dispenser doesn't work, gets spots on

Sounds like your not using a rinse aid. Fill the dispenser with jet dry. Not only it keeps dishes spot free but it help to dry them as well.

Not sure about the rinse agent but the film is caused by hard water.

It sounds like you may be using too much rinse aid or have changed from a detergent based tablet to an all-in-one type.

Reduce the amount of rinse aid in your wash by altering the setting on the rinse aid dispenser - usually a dial numbered 1-6. Lower the setting and see if this helps

The dispenser will take about 6 oz of rinse aid if completely empty. It will only need filled every couple months depending on how often you do dishes.

If you are getting poor drying performance or spotting use a rinse aid that is called 'Turbo Dry'.

The arrow is how much rinse will dispense each load. Start out near the center, if you see spotting or turn it up slightly and try another load.

Use the detergent meant for dish washers. Fill the rinse aid dispenser as per the user guide.If the water quality is hard. Use softeners. If dish washer salt adding provision is provide fill the dispenser.

If the glasses are spotty from hard water try a rinse aid like Jet Dry. If they are actually dirty, depending on the brand of DW you may need to rinse them better before putting them in the DW. Not all brands are cerated equally, some do work better then others

white film is actually from the calcium and magnesium found in hard water. your dishwasher is fine. its the water leaving the residue and spots. go to www.dishwasherfilter.com . they have a new product out exactly for this reason. very affordable and works amazing. you will love it.

You will need a technician to remove the rinse aid dispenser and empty the windex out. Or just buy a rinse aid that can be hung from the upper rack. The amount of liquid released from the dispenser is a small amount and I don't think it would cause a problem.

Your question is: Beaumark Whisper Wash IV dishwasher jet dry dispenser does not appear to be working ( not using any jet dry) do they plug up or malfunction, if so how do you get it to repair or unplug?

The liquid jet dry dispencer only dispences a few drops in the last rinse. It is not uncommon for it to go a few months before needing refilling so it may not "appear" to be working. Are there spots on your glasses? That's the real test. If there are then just buy the jet dry that comes in a little basket that you hang from the top rack. Replace when it's empty and forget about the auto dispencer. If the glasses are clear then it's working and don't do anything..
