download canon retter to reset the product. erorr 5boo is ink absorber full error. you can reset it resetter.

remove the cartridge/toner ... wipe it with clean cloth and also wipe the interior of the printer as much as possible. erorr reading will be gone in next reset.

Hi guys,
Error code 5B00 indicates absorber full error. To fix this problem you need to reset waste absorber counter and replace waste ink absorber. Unfortunately you don't write the printer model so I cannot write reset procedure here.

try this -
1) Enter SERVICE MODE By pressing Menu-Scan-Copy-Scan
2) Enter NVRAM by presing <--- or ---> then OK
3) SET ABS-M LEVEL TO 0
4) OK

turn the printer power off and remove the existing driver software and reinstall the latest driver software from the website that will take care of the problem
