What does "CF" mean when flashing on Kenmore dehumidifier?

You need to reset by turning thermostat dial all the way to test reset. It will reset itself, then go back to your setting.

There are usually a couple of pieces of clear tape on new units holding the filter in place. Make sure those are removed.

For sure this is an error and could be a fault in the heater panel or the motor drive.
Must remove out and check if the fault goes off on disconnection of one of the above.

run it without the filter with a 1 part vinegar 4 parts water. then try it with a clean or new filter. You may need to run it a few (5-6) times before it stops shutting off by its self.

I don't know what CHO1 is either! My husband and I had the same problem a couple years ago. We just ended up buying a new one.

Just found an owners manual for the sunbeam version - p1 = defrosting. It will restart after it defrosts.
