Pro Scan/RCA TV's (Pro Scan's are just glorified RCA's TV's) don't hold up very well (cheap components). You can try removing the back and checking the fuse/fuses (could be that simple), but if it's over 5 years old? You may be looking for a new TV soon.
You should find a fuse on the circuit board near where the power cord goes into the back.
I hope this helps, and Good Luck.

My dish 311 receiver goes on and off when connected to dish pro plus lnb

rdjennings10,

It does sound like there could be a power problem with the receiver. The Dish Pro Plus LNB won't cause any issues with that receiver. If the receiver is plugged into a power strip or surge protector, try plugging it directly into the wall. If it is already directly into the wall, try a different outlet if available.

If the problem persists, we will have to replace the equipment. You can reach me at [email protected] to get that taken care of.

Tv will not turn on

This sounds like it might be a main board issue. Depending on the television brand there are different replacements you can get at different prices. I would try unplugging the tv from the wall first then try plugging it back in while holding channel up/volume up on the tv as you are plugging it back into the wall. If this doesn't change anything it is most likely a problem with your main board.

** TV won't turn on.** No picture or sound. Please Help !

If the red light won't come on it is not getting power.First, try plugging it in to a different outlet,or unplug one of the gadgets you know is working and plug the tv in there. You are simply switching. If you know that there is power coming from the outlet and it still won't come on then you'll have to check the cord;don't go much farther than that without expert help.

Hello my computer will not connect to my screen anymore. I have a LG lcd monitor and tv it was working yesterday wen i turned it off and 2day wen i turned computer on my screen won't get the signal....

Check the cables and if this doesn't work try a different screen. In the event that a different screen does not cure the problem you may have bigger problems. It could be Ram failure it could be Graphics card failure or it could even be HDD failure. Always try the easiest and cheapest bits first.

My dish remote will not work with my naxa tv

Hey sevenwindham,

If the remote won't work it may need to be programmed to the TV. You can personally look at the steps in the link below, just look up the model of your remote. The steps to program your remote are also provided

http://www.dishnetwork.com/SupportSection/remote-setup

Addressing Remote to TV:

1.) Press and hold the clear TV button until all mode lights light up.
2.) Release and TV light will be blinking.
3.) Enter code and press #.
4.) Try functions (Volume, Power, etc..) and see if working.
5.) If no function, repeat steps 1-4 with another code.

If that doesn't work you can also try the Power Scan listed below.

Power Scan:

1.) With the TV on, press and hold the desired mode button (about six seconds) on top of the remote until all mode button backlights come on, then release.
2.) Press 0 then press STAR (*) and press and release the Power button.
3.) Press the Up button once a second while pointing the remote at the TV. If the code for the TV comes up, the TV will power off.
4.) Press the POUND (#) button. If the code entered is valid for the remote, the mode light flashes three times. To verify the code works try several different functions for that equipment.

If you have any other questions let me know!

When I turn on my set, light turns green, then after 30 seconds turns red won't come on

Sounds like there is a problem with the power supply. Try unplugging the T.V. and hold the power button for 30 seconds. Plug the T.V. back in and see if that helps. If it doesn't try switching to another outlet, and if that doesn't work then you may need to replace the power supply which would probably cost anywhere from 140 to 200 for one.
