First unplug device from the computer. Go to Device Manager and look for NWz-E344. It may be under Portable Devices or under disk drives. It depends on your OS. When you find it, right click and select Uninstall. After it uninstalls, connect the player to the computer. The computer should run the plug-and-play add hardware to re-add the device.

How do i add photos to my nwz-e344

Hi,

Connect the Sony Walkman NWZ-E344 (8 GB) Digital Media player to your computer using the device's USB sync cable. Wait until your computer detects the MP3 player.

Click the "Start" icon in the taskbar. Click "My Computer."

Double-click "Removable Disk." This will open the root storage directory of your MP3 player, which is where all its files are stored. Locate the "Photos" folder inside this directory.

Drag-and-drop pictures from your computer into the Sony Walkman NWZ-E344 (8 GB) Digital Media player Photos folder: Click on a picture file and hold down the mouse button while moving the file to the Photos folder, then release the mouse button to copy the picture to the folder. You can now view these pictures on your Sony Walkman NWZ-E344 (8 GB) Digital Media player.

If your Sony Walkman NWZ-E344 (8 GB) Digital Media player does not support photo viewing, you can still add pictures to the device. Drag-and-drop the pictures anywhere within the root storage directory. You can transfer the pictures to another computer or any USB-compatible device.

Good luck.

MUSIC WAS DOWNLOAD THAT I DID LIKE, SO I PRESSED THE RESET AND NOW THE SCREEM ONLY SHOWS CONNECT THE USB(MPT) THE TIMER AND THE ALARM WILL BECOME INVALID. HOW DO I GET IT BACK ON AND DOWNLOAD WHAT I WANT...

Resetting is the same as formatting and you probably haven't got anything left. I do know that if you register your MP3 online with Sony that they have firmware, software and download helpers for free. I have an MP3 with 399 songs that I can't save to my computer and the silly thing has starting freezing up like a popsicle. So far I have been able to let it die completely and then re-charge it and listen to my fantastic and long playlist. But I too fear that all will be lost and it really bites! Peace, Love and Hair Grease from the ToyzRUsKiddom=)
