Really cant tell why because you havent mentioned much! Anyway if your cellphone is locked and you have inserted a different SIM card from other network provider then you wont get signals. A phone can't catch signal correctly if your in a remote areas where cellphone sites are not available. Try going out of the house and see if the signal strength is going good. There maybe interference and call also the network provider of your phone. Get to know if there having technical problems with there signals. Another thing, if none of this works, I suggest you go to a cellphone repair center and let a qualified technician handle it.
