Getting a dead sensor reading on pacemaster pro plus treadmill

We bought a used pacemaster pro plus that we set up and it runs for 5 seconds stops with the error message dead sensor. What is the problem?
It was running fine for the owner, however he stored it in his garage for a while. Maybe it is the speed sensor. If that is it can it be replaced by someone who is handy.

OPEN MOTOR SHROUD INSPECT THE COMPARTMENT ON THIS INSTANT I BELIEVE THAT THE SENSOR IS AT THE OPPOSITE END OF THE MOTOR THE LEADS GO INTO MOTOR CONTROL BOARD I WOULD FIRST UNPLUG AND PLUG THE CONNECTOR THIS WOULD CLEAN ANY OXIDATION OFF. IF NOT YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO DO THE REPAIR

You can get the same sensor here, cheaper and no $25 minimum order and better shipping.

Be aware that a dead sensor reading can also be a bad motherboard. I learned that from personal experience.

Cardiozone Elite Plus HR T treadmill and am getting an error E11

Hello again

Having typed everything below the dotted lines for the last 30 minutes, I found this. It has a magnetic speed sensor on the pulley

https://www.justanswer.com/fitness-equipment/2srkz-just-moved-cardiozone-elite-max-hr-treadmill.html

==============================================

Here is the parts diagram and it shows no speed sensor and all parts are unavailable.
https://www.fitnessrepairparts.com/equipment/Select/7631/CardioZone/CZE-Elite-Plus-HRT

Parts Diagram closeup
https://www.fitnessrepairparts.com/equipment/7631/diagrams/7403

That is contradicted here, but my view is that they are guessing because the parts diagram shows no sensor and if it was there and a part of the management system and expected to fail, it would be. There is a picture of of two sensors from Amazon and eBay, one is a Hall Effect Sensor, and the other is a Magnetic sensor. If it has them, you wouldn't be able to miss them and they would be connected to Part 17 - Controller.

Pacemaster Pro Elite error code 35

Error code 35 on a Pacemaster Pro Elite treadmill typically indicates a problem with the treadmill's speed sensor. This sensor is responsible for detecting the speed at which the treadmill belt is moving and providing that information to the treadmill's control panel. If the speed sensor is not functioning properly, the treadmill may display error code 35 and stop operating.
There are a few things you can try to troubleshoot and fix this error:
  1. Check the connections between the speed sensor and the control panel. Make sure that the connectors are securely plugged in and that there are no visible signs of damage.
  2. Clean the speed sensor. The speed sensor may be dirty or covered in debris, which can affect its ability to accurately detect the treadmill's speed. Use a dry cloth to gently wipe away any dirt or debris.
  3. Check the treadmill belt for proper tension. If the belt is too loose, it may cause the speed sensor to malfunction. Adjust the belt tension according to the manufacturer's instructions.
  4. Replace the speed sensor. If none of the above steps fix the problem, the speed sensor may be faulty and need to be replaced. This is a more complex repair that may require the assistance of a professional.
I hope these suggestions help you resolve the error code 35 issue on your Pacemaster Pro Elite treadmill. If you are unable to fix the problem or if the error persists, it is recommended to contact the manufacturer for further assistance.

Pacemaster SX-PRO Treadmill, shows "Dead Sensor"

Edited question for clarity by adding 'Treadmill'.
Moved from Motorcycle Category to Exercise and Fitness.

It is likely the speed sensor. The company went bankrupt, so you have an issue unless you can find a generic part.

I have a PaceMaster Pro treadmill. I'm getting a dead sensor error message. Where is the RPM sensor on this treadmill? And how do you replace it?

It would be easier to help if I knew the exact model of the treadmill. Here is a link to what a speed sensor looks like.

You will most likely have to remove the cover on the bottom part of your treadmill to see it.
