All 3 lights went out overnight and the router stopped working, although the power supply is working fine.2Wire does not offer repair. Can the box be opened and serviced?
Good suggestion, if only to confirm that the router is stone cold dead. No more 2Wire for me.Good suggestion, if only to confirm that the router is stone cold dead. No more 2Wire for me.

Hi Jimmy Check your power supply, sometimes a failure in them causes this problem. If your power supply is ok then the router has failed. Replace the router. Or maybe your internet provider has a problem delivering the internet to you, if that is the problem then contact your internet provider. Bud
1. if the power went out and then back on it is possibly due to a "power surge" and it possibly damaged the power supply to the Cisco router and or to the router itself. 2. check the routers power supply and replacement is needed if the router was not plugged into a surge protected socket.
Make sure all the wires are connected properly. 1.-Unplug your modem and router from the power supply. Wait 1 minute. 2.-Plug your modem back to the power and wait for all the lights to stop flashing. 3.-Plug your router back to the power and wait for the lights to stop flashing Follow these steps and your internet should be working again!

If you dont have any lights on the router the power supply is broken. You can try to use the power supply with other units which are using 5 volt to see if it is working.
pls check the power supply this happens when the router's supply is faulty or the power outlet in WALL ,

If the firmware upgrade has failed there's a possibility that the router went bad already, first thing to try here is to reset the router by doing this steps, Press and hold the reset button of the router for 30 seconds while power is ON, then after that unplug the power of the router for 10 seconds and hopefully all the light will be back to its normal but if still the same and you cannot access the router setup page better contact Linksys and if its still under warranty have it replace....
Check to make sure your using the correct power supply. I have seen people mix up their modem power supplies with their router and it do something similar to that.
