Assuming your computer doesn't have an SD card slot....

buy this: http://www.amazon.com/Mini-Memory-Reader-Black-Compatible/dp/B001MXSG64/ref=sr_1_10?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1267478119&sr=1-10

and this: http://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-MicroSD-TransFlash-Card-Adapter/dp/B000LTN8CC/ref=pd_cp_e_2

and you're in business. :)

The second one even comes with it's own micro SD Card.

You need a USB to Flash card adapter, you push the little card into the slot, and if it is a mini card, it has to go into another card "Carrier" that plugs into another adapter, that then plugs into the PC, either through the USB adapter or a slot in PC, anyway, when you insert it, automatically, a driver will be installed, it is "Built into" Windows, now after it has done so. you can simply use it as a "Drive", meaning you can Copy, Cut, Paste.

F:/ drive does not read Scan Disk device

Try inserting the memory card into an USB card reader and then plug it into a different computer. If this computer does not detect the memory card then the memory card is probably faulty.

I INSERTED THE MICROSD MEMORY CARD IN THE COMPUTER BUT I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO NEXT

Most computers do not have a slot for a "Micro" SD card. Instead, those often have to placed inside an adapter that looks like a normal size SD Card. If your SD card looks like the picture below, you should be good to go from the start! Once it is inserted into the computer, click on "My Computer". On older Windows versions, this is a link on your desktop. In newer, click on the Start menu at the bottom left of your screen, then click on the "My Computer" option there. You should see the SD card on that screen below your hard drive.

If, however, your card looks like the smaller SD card on the right in the picture below, please ensure that your computer has a specific slot for this smaller variant of SD card. If it does not, you will need an adapter, shown to the left. In that case, you will plug the small SD card into the adapter, and then into the computer. then go to My computer to see it.

I put my sd card and adapter in the computer and nothing pops up and i dont know how to get to it and i cant add stuff on it.

First make sure you inserted the SD correctly, some slots require you to insert upside down. Look in my computer, and see if you see an indication USB drive or Removable drive.

How do you put music on a 2gb mobile microSD card with adapter? I put the adapter into my dell near the headphones with the memory card in it but i don't know if that is right

If it was inserted correctly, you will see it as a drive in My Computer. From there, you can copy files from a cd or a folder on your computer to it.

Yes, you will need an adapter unless you have a card reader that accepts that specific type of card.

I can't use the memory cart!

The adapter simply changes the size of the card to a larger card that will fit into some computers. Some cameras use the tiny card but when you want to play the photos on the computer you take the tiny card, insert it into the larger card, and insert that combination card into the computer slot.

I have a sd micro card and i want to load music on it from my computer to put on my phone

Hello,

This is a relatively easy problem.

You can do so by using a memory card reader.

You can easily get a memory card reader from any local store at a cheap price, depending on your country.

Most of the Memory card readers come in USB type, so what you just need to do is to plug it in any available usb port on your PC, and then insert your
sd micro card in the appropriate port for it.

For SD Micro Cards (The Smallest Types), most times you might need to first insert it in a Small Card Adapter that comes with SD Micro cards, before inserting it in your USB Card Reader.

Hope this helps you out.

Kindly let me know how it goes.

Good luck.
