I had the same problem with my Sony DSC-W150 camera. It turned out to have an easy fix. At the same time, press the power button and depress the shutter button halfway (the one you snap to take pics) as if you were trying to engage the autofocus without pressing the button down entirely. The lens will attempt to autofucus, which in my case was enough extra power to dislodge whatever debris/sand had clogged the lens. Hope this works for you!

how do you formate memory stick if the camera woke work at all. It keeps saying reinsert memory stick . Must be a w150 problem cause that's what mine is doing too! :(

The lens gear or flex cable may has broken , replace it may work well again .

In the menu you most likely have the size size at or near maximum. This uses up a lot of space on your card. Try reducing the size.
