Yes i'm having a problem when trying to play fifa 10 i'm getting error msg 8001050f and its not even letting me get to the fifa main memory. I've been on to electronicarts.co.uk and found the resolve for the problem but this still didn't work

This happens when the PS3 Network is under going maintence, it happens atleast once a month. Its not your PS3, just give it sometime and should come back up on its own. Possibly after a update as well.

- Also on Fifa 10 like most games coming out lately have a internet check, if active internet is detected it auto checks for trophies, since the PSN is going for updates and patchs are coming out it will error out. only way to really get on as it worked for demon souls is to turn the internet off to the ps3 .

ps3 8001050F happens when the PSN is under going updates and server maintence. It should pass in time, alot of people are having the same issue, which this happens once to twice a month. It will pass in a day proubly not even that much.

at present there is no solution for the problem other than time, it is believed that the whole of psn has crashed or the servers have been taken offline while they update them, they just needed an error code to "explain" their technical faults i would imagine.
