My screen will not fit the monitor on my lap top.It has a black 2 inch border around it

If the monitor has settings to change the horizontal and vertical scale try stretching the picture to fit the screen.

If you hit full screen on the youtube video and its not full screen, then it sounds like your monitor resolution is to low.

Rt click on a place on your screen and pick screen resolution, then pick resolution and increase it.

The first number is width, so say it's on 800x600 then go 1024x768

You probably need to install a display driver for this monitor on your netbook. http://us.aoc.com/monitor_displays/e950swn

Widen border on what? A document, if so go into page setup. If you're talking about the whole screen, go into the Desktop under the Control Panel and change the screen resolution.

Right click on your desktop and click screen resolution. Increase your resolution. If you are not able to then you need to download your display driver. Search for device manager and go down to your display. If it has a broken or missing driver then go to hps website download and install the driver.

RIGTH CLICK THEN DISCKTOP THEN PROPERTIES,DESPLAY AD SETTING, CHANGE INTO 1024 BY 768 PEXILS.... TO FIT THE SCREEN RESOLUTION 32BIT ONLY

There are two things which could have caused this. One, the Monitor settings have changed or the computers display settings have changed.

1. Resetting the monitor to default.
Push the 'MENU' button to open the OnScreedDisplay system and display the main features menu. Push the - and + buttons to move between the function icons
Use the buttons to highlight 'Factory Reset' (this returns the settings to the factory preset values for the selected group of functions)

2. Checking the desktop display settings.
Right click on the desktop and select properties, click on settings and make sure screen resolution is set to one of the following 640 x 480 or 800 x 600 or 1024 x 768. These are the only ones supported by the monitor

If both this fails. Then the monitor is nearing end of life

All LCD displays have an "Auto" button press it and see if that fixs it. should be aparent what it does if it does it. but basicly it alines the picture with the screen. when you change back to user profile you may need to press it again.

if you hav a monitor separate from your computer(not a laptop)then just use your settings on the monitor untill it works again the way you like it..

or for laptops and monitors with no controls on them go 2 control panel>>>>appearance and themes>>>>display. then click on the tab that says settings. go 2 advanced and the dpi setting should be set at 96....and if nothing changes go 2 the appearance tab then 2 advanced. and at the bottom for the item look for active window border and the size should say 1. if it does then keepo trying to make the number bigger so your page doesnt have a black border
