How do I download skycaddie program back on to the computer. I already have a subscription for the year

I've located the download page for the CaddieSync desktop application for your SkyCaddie SG4 GPS. Simply visit this link: http://www.skygolf.com/skygolf/Membership/Owners.aspx and you should find the download. You'll need to select the Mac option and then choose SG4 for the model. Remember: don't connect your device to the computer until after you have the software installed.

You need the CaddieSync software installed on a PC.

• If you have not already done so, you can download the software HERE.
  
• Connect your SkyCaddy to the PC.
• You can renew your membership on the Account Overview page in CaddieSync.
  If your membership has expired:
  
• Turn on your SkyCaddie and connect it to your computer.
• Launch CaddieSync. If No SkyCaddie Synced appears in the lower navigation bar, click the Sync button.
  To ensure your courses are updated and downloaded to your SkyCaddie, click the COURSES tab at the top of the CaddieSync screen and select Favorites. You can manage your courses on this page or download courses to update your SkyCaddie.
  
• Click the ACCOUNT tab in the upper navigation bar.
• Login with your username and password. If you do not recall your password, click Forgot your username or password?.
  
• On the Account Overview page, click link the Renew link under Actions at the lower right of the CaddieSync window.

If your membership has not expired, you can use the same procedure to renew.
When you renew your membership within 90 days of expiration, you retain your current expiration date as your activation anniversary. You do not risk losing your membership by renewing early.

Ran into this problem last night. Was trying to update software on Skycaddie. According to computer, everything finished. However, my skycaddie was displaying UPDATE PROGRAM VER 00.13 (B) Ready to Begin. Tried to reload last application as stated in earlier post. PC could not fine skycaddie.

Gave up and called customer service this morning. Only took a few minutes to get a live rep on the phone. He e-mailed me a link to execute that allowed him access to my computer. He tried to reload the last application as well, same result. He then ran an update program via a website, program found my skycaddie and was successfully updated. Whole process took less than five minutes.

I was fearing having to send my unit in for repair.

Firewalls don't just present themselves through Windows. Do you have an extending firewall software like Norton, McAfee? If so, you will need to also configure/add the SkyCaddie Desktop program to those. Also, is the internet connection from the computer you are using on a router or nodem? Is it located in a business who has security on the network. If it is the latter, there is little you can do about that. If it is the first, then you will need to reconfigure router settings to allow also for the software. These items are different for every computer so the techs there will not know how to personally reconfigure routers and networks, but they can assist you with Norton, McAfee,etc.

You must be sure the SkyCaddie is turned on and connected to your computer. You should then launch the SkyCaddie desktop software that you should already have loaded onto your computer. The two should automatically connect and should take you to your golf course listing on the device. From this list, you can add or remove golf courses to your device by either clicking on the ADD button or the REMOVE button on the list, whichever process you want to perform.
