Is is possible to have a second cordless receiver/phone? That is, have the "main" unit plugged into the wired phone service (plus the AC line) with its associated cordless receiver/phone and a second cordless receiver/phone elsewhere. I believe I am asking if one get get a pair of cordless receivers/phones operating at the same frequency of the "main" unit. Is the RF frequency tunable in any simple manner?
Thank you.
You may not be able to add to your current phone, but multiple-handset cordless phones are widely available. Just add extra handsets as you need them up to the system capacity. Just visit any large retailer for a selection, or check online shopping sites.
As far as tuning goes, you can't tune the frequency per se, but many cordless phones have a "channel" button. These let you switch channels while you're on a call if you experience interference.
