Thanks for the responce. Yes the clicking is from the rear of the appliance. It stops when you open one of the doors then starts again intermitently a few minutes later. Have also noticed the actual temp of the fridge sometimes falls to freezing then back to the 4 degrees its set on. Yes the appliance is a side by side. Whats the likely cost of a rear brd ? Many thanks RobThanks for the responce.

Is the clicking noise coming from the front or rear of the appliance if it is the rear the it is most likely that the rear brd needs replacing as this will be running the whole appliance. Is the freezer cold enough? Should be close to 10 degrees.
Is there water or ice in the ice mold? If not put water in
it and see if it dumps the ice after it’s frozen. If there is ice, lift the cut off arm and let
it drop to see if it will start.
If it does dump the ice but don’t refill with water.
Try swapping the wires on the dual water inlet valve. Then
try the water dispenser. The water should go to the ice maker. This will tell
you weather or not the ice maker valve is working and if the line is clear.
You might have a frozen line. Also and this seems more important to you its prob to cold, Trust me to cold of a refrig will cause hollow ice cubes first leading to a frozen line. Clean your coils, if you have another refrig empty out into that, unplug it leave doors open a couple days. If you can get to water line use a hair dryer from a distance defrost line, turn down freezer half knotch 1 full one at maximum. should fix issues, especially if filter already changed. If this all check prob a clogged line, not just frozen.
