L03 means that the firmware does not have the correct checksum. Firmware has to be reinstalled. This is a lens error the cam needs a repair.

My camera Kodak V1073 has an error on the screen an says " error L03" can you help me with my problem?.

I have the same problem in my Kodak Z8612 and I took it to the service center. They told me its a Lense error and the lense has to be replaced.
