try to change the rubber around the door opening this will take care on the odor also try using the afrsh washer cleaner and use a double dose 2 tablets

Hello, Thank You for using FixYa. I will be helping you today.Try 2 cups of white vinegar on a heavy duty cycle with hot water.Pour it in the detergent dispenser after it starts to fill. Also the affresh tablets work good i would use 3 tablets at one time if your unit is as bad as you say.

Clean your machine by using a cotton wash at 85'C without anything in it, and with no detergent.
Also, empty the coin-trap at the bottom left (front of the machine).
Also, remove the detergent drawer, clean by hand. While the drawer is out clean the dispenser area with mildew cleaner.
You can also try using Sodium Metabisulphite (see a homebrew shop). Avoid using bleach as it damages the stainless steel.
In between washes you can leave the inner door slightly ajar to allow it to dry out between washes.

Use a degreaser to clean the rubber seal around the tub. Then use concentrated lemon juice to remove the musty smell.

keep door boot wiped out leave door open . buy cleaning tablet at parts store.

you can open the filter drainage under near the drain hose. there may be something that comes into the washer drum and died leaving a smell. how to open the filter is rotated and pulled out only. then you try to drain the washing machine how to turn it. will allow water or sewage, which is in the drum filter out of the hole. and do not forget to clean the exhaust filter the water, there will be a lot of dirt.

If you have used a non HE detergent in your washer this smell will occur often. Even using HE detergents over a period of 1 year since new they can get this odor. What you can do is use a full cup of bleach and 1/4 cup powdered Dawn dish washing soap in your washer with some non greasy rags. Dump it straight into the tub (not via the dispenser) and run a HOT wash. You can also add a squeeze of lemon at the same time or lemon concentrate. If it has been a long time since a machine cleaning cycle you may have to do this 2 times. It is recommended you perform a machine cleaning cycle at least every 90 days.

There are several cleaners for front loading washers on the market, such as affresh, washer magic, smellywasher cleaner, whirlaway hot tub cleaner, and tide washer cleaner. Clean out the filter located behind the access door at the lower left front of the machine, then, if your model has a tub clean setting, use that with one of those cleaners, if not, use one of those cleaners with the longest, hottest cycle. If things were very bad, you may have to clean it twice. Now, after it is cleaned out,.....STOP USING SO MUCH SOAP ! Use only one tablespoon of HE laudry detergent per cycle, and only one teaspoon of fabric softener if you use that. (Note: Bath towels, used only to wipe off clean bodies, then tossed into the laundry are not dirty enough to require soap usage, and should never have softener used on them) The odors in your washer are caused by a build up of soap and fabric softeners on the inside of the washer's drum. Also, you may have a build up of soap or fabric softener on your clothes. Wash them again once with no soap or fab softener to rinse them out.

Whirlpool and Tide make a cleaner that you put into the washer and run it through a cycle. Front loaders get a build-up that cannot be cleaned by hand. Make sure you are using a detergent that is marked "HE". Do not overfill the detergent or softener cups. I've heard that other used a lot of bleach in a wash cycle to clear out the smell. Bleach is bad to use if you're on a septic system, though.

Check the pump and make sure that it is draining the water. There will always be a little water left over but you should never be able to hear it very easily. Once you check the pump and make sure it is operating properly check the water sensor to make sure that it is acuratly reading the water hieght. After that take one cup of Vinegar and run a hot load of water will kill the mold and clean your system out
