The LG error code OE simply means "the pump is blocked". Presumably the water isn't being emptied properly. As with all error codes it is possible that there is a cause other than the exact description in the error code explanation but basically this error means as far as the washing machine is concerned it thinks the water isn't pumping out. A pump, or filter blockage is the most common cause but it could be caused by other faults such as a faulty pump, or even a blockage in the drain hose or somewhere else in the system etc.

LG has some information on this error code..

LG washing machine leaks when filling

You just need to find where from?

Back of the soap dispenser.
Water Level Sensor.
Hoses under the drum.
Drain Pump.
Drain Hose.
Door Gasket on a Front Loader.

Full 'make model top load / front load' is useful in these questions

My LG washer is not draining, I have OE code. Is there way to test the drain pump with out having to fill the drum/washer with water?

Hi if you remove the pump again get a plug and wires example from a table lamp and attach 2 wires to the pump dont worry about polarity it will run both ways plug into the wall see if the pump runs out of the machine ( does this model have 2 pumps one could be the recirculation pump)

LG washing machine error code OE. Pump runs but will not drain.

There is most likely a blockage between Pump and house drain pipe.

Need help

Are you saying it is draining the water properly? Because it sounds as though the pump is faulty. Every now and then you get pup motor that don't short out or stop completely they just don't drain we'll anymore. The drain period on your machine is timed so a slow drain may cause the error. So even though everything is clear and 'working' the pump needs replacing. Another cause would be a false reading from the pressure switch(level switch) but you would normally have problems with fill etc also, so unlikely.

LG WM-2032HW front loader washer gives error goes OE and IE

"OE" is really "DE"= drain error. Clean out filter behind access door on lower left corner front panel of machine. (there will be some water in machine)
"IE" = inlet error. machine took too long to fill. clean out inlet water screens where the hoses connect onto machine.

Drain pump on my LG wm1832cw seems to be "clogged" I've cleaned drain filter check discharge hose and have made sure house drain is clear.

i took the pump out . then took the pump apart , water got past the o ring , where shaft goes into the center. i cleaned out the sludge & put grease on the o rings before putting it back together. it's worked since,
