Clothes dryer does not work when power turned on at wall. Sounder goes continuously, no lights on panel and panel buttons do nothing

If it didn't do that before removing the capacitor & wires then I would assume it is something you have done wrong. Maybe put a wire back in wrong place. There is a wiring diagram on back of dryer. Motor not starting could be the capacitor, you really need to test it with a capacitor tester. It may also be the motor bearings seizing up. If motor is tight to turn when belt is off then it will be time for a new dryer. Too expensive to replace the motor on such an old dryer.

I dried one load and the clothes seemed to be a little damp but try enough, when my daughter put clothes in it and pressed the button, it made a humming sound and did not want to turn, I waited a while and...

when it hums and won't start that's usually the motor, when was the last time you took the dryer apart and cleaned it?alot of people don't know that the dryer should be unplugged, taken apart and cleaned out,the vent line too,i bet if you open it up your motor is covered in lint,if the vent line is a long run you can remove it from the back of dryer and stick a leaf blower in it and blow it out to the outside,if it hasn't been done in a long time after you blow it run the dryer on air fluff and go outside and check to make sure the air is blowing out, sometimes blowing it could push all the lint up to the opening and block it,if it does you have to pull it out or get a brush and stick it into the pipe and clean the opening out,but you could have something stuck in the blower wheel if the dryer was started with clothes in it without the lint filter in it and a piece of clothing went down into the blower wheel stopping the motor from turning or the motor is bad,the dryer should be cleaned out at least once a year.

Wed9200sq0 heats, tumbles but does not dry at any heat setting

You are correct. Pull the dryer out and disconnect your venting from the back of the dryer. Turn your dryer on and check to make sure your dryer is blowing air out of the dryer duct. If it is then leave your dryer out at least 2 ft from the wall and run a load of clothes through the dryer. If it dries your clothes normally then you have a venting restriction. Check to make sure your venting is clean, not kinked or smashed, make sure your outside vent is opening an doesn.t have something blocking it. Check your lint screen filter by running water through it. If water is not flowing through it, you have a build up of fabric softener on your screen, blocking air flow. Scrub your screen off and test again. Good Luck, Appliance Specialists

The heating compenent works, but drum won't spin

Have you checked the belt? That's generally the problem when a dryer stops spinning.

Dryer stopped working mid-cycle.

I presume she pushed the start button again. Can you hear the motor running? If so, it's a broken belt. The door switch can fail anytime. If the dryer started ok later, the motor was overheated. Lighter loads will avoid a lot of problems, and the dryer will probably work better.
