Is it on a pedistal? pedistals tend to male it worse due to the raised center of gravity.

make sure the feet are adjusted correctly and is sits squarly on the ground. Is it new? did whoever installed it remove the bolts that are installed for transportation?

I have a whirlpool Duet front load washer that when going into the spin cycle it starts will start spinning but never goes into the fast spin to drain all the water from the wash. Clothes still wet

Hi Paul, first piece of advice is to make sure the loads of laundry are consistent. A pair of jeans or a bath towel in a load of lighter clothes can cause an off balance condition, causing the machine to constantly try to re balance the load and never reaching high speed spin. Other than that, make sure your spin speed option is set to high. If those don't solve the issue, contact a local repair company to come out and take a look. Hope that helps.

Whirlpool duet fw95hedco washer won't spin at max speed & leaves all clothes wet. No error codes during tech diagnostic visit. Washer only 18 months old.

Possible Defective washer transmission. Do you overload the washer with heavy items like towels or blue jeans very often? That can cause early failure.

My Kenmore when in spin cycle it shakes all over the floor rattling and shaking

I can't offer a definitive answer but I have had a little experience.

It is possible it is spinning too fast. The brain of the machine needs to know how fast the motor is spinning in order to control the speed. The motor is fitted with a tachometer sender for this purpose. It is important any replacement motor is fitted with an identical tachometer to the original.

The brain is programmed to cycle the spin slowly at first at increasing speeds to allow the washload to settle and for most of the water to be removed so when full speed is reached there will be less vibration. Perhaps the cycle is incomplete or absent and it is starting on a high speed spin...

The washtub suspension can become worn and weak even though it appears intact...

It is conceivable the drum is imbalanced - a drum that is nicely balanced will not vibrate when spinning without a washload.

Drum shakes during spin cycle

I have a 7 year old duet washer. It started to shake during the spin cycle. It is level and the shocks and springs holding the drum are working. When the washer gets to the spin cycle, it is apparent that the drum is off center.
I tore the machine apart and found that there is a bracket at the back of the drum. This bracket sits in water so it was covered in slime. I found several large cracks in the bracket. Once these cracks occur, there is now way the drum can spin correctly. The bracket is welded to the back of the drum, so it has to be completely replaced.
What a poor design. I would guess that many, many other people will be seeing the same problem within a couple years. I was lucky in that I did not pay for a repairman to try to fix it.

Whirlpool Duet Front Loader won't get up to spin speed

Careful of overloading the front-loading washers. Too much of this will result in the bearings in the drum to go bad. When this happens, the rpms on the drum slow down due to belt slack. You can only see this with the back off of the unit and in the middle of the cycle. They do not sell replacement bearings...you'll have to buy the whole drum (bearings pressed inside) and for 1/2 the cost of a new washer. I hate front-loaders. I'll never buy one again.

Whirlpool Duet stuck on spin cycle

Press 'end of cycle' for over 3 seconds. Perhaps you have to check your filter, maybe clogged.

Tub spins too fast on all cylces

Just wondering: did the technician also replace the motor control unit? Or is that the 'spin unit' that you mentioned?
