When the WLAN link light blinks, it means there is network traffic flowing through the modem. Blinking slowly means that there is a little bit of traffic.

2. Select a radio button.
• Push and Connect (recommended). Either click the button or press the WPS
button on the rear panel of the Internet adapter.
• PIN Number. Select the radio button and a PIN displays.
The Internet adapter tries to join the wireless network for 2 minutes if you are using Push
'N' Connect, or 4 minutes if you are using a PIN.
3. Go to the router.
• If you are using Push 'N' Connect, press the router's WPS button.
• If you are using a PIN, log in to the router and type the PIN from your Internet adapter
in its WPS screen.
4. Go back to the computer that is connected to the Internet adapter, and make sure that you
are connected to the wireless network.
• When WPS is running, the WLAN LED blinks, alternating between green and amber.
• If the computer does not to connect with WPS, the WLAN LED is solid red for 5
seconds.
• If the computer does connect using WPS, the WLAN LED is solid green for 5 seconds
Then the WLAN LED returns to indicating a wireless signal.
First, unplug everything. This means, remove all your equipment from any power connection. Many people think that just turning a piece of equipment off and on will solve the problem. Actually as long as the equipment is plugged in, there is power to the circuits this prevents a complete reset. Now, after maybe 30 seconds, plug in the modem and the router and then turn on your computer (I'm assuming there is at least one computer wired to the router). If the lights keep on blinking, push the reset button in the back of the router to try to reset it. If these two things don't work, you can assume the router has been damaged, possibly by a power surge and must be replaced.
DI-624 is a bit old and mine has failed from overheating on occasion. Check that it is not in direct sunlight. If it is hot to the touch, see if it works after cooling off a bit. I had a client who had no problems for five months, until spring. One day his wifi crapped out every time the sun came out and it took me forever to figure that one out.
if your wlan light isnt blinking, that might be your ethernet connection. try switching your ethernet connection from your computer to your ps3 ( if you have a wireless router ) if not keep it there but change your phone wire connections.
Also check if the power light on your router is blinking. If it is blinking, that's an indication of hardware failure. To revive it, do a hard reset. Press and hold the power button of the router for 30 seconds then unplug the power. Wait for 30 seconds again before you plug it back in.
i think blinking indicator is not the reason but if the indicator are not blinking that would be problem.. you are getting a internet provider, right! contact your internet provider for this problem because maybe its not your router in the problem or maybe them...
it will continuously blink . this shows the siganl is transmitting from the access point. and this frequency of this light blinking will increase when some client computers are connected to your access point or router
Can you try and reset the router once. I guess that should help . There should be a reset button behind the router and the reset procedure should be present in the manual
The PC will detect a closed loop within the Network cable so forget that. Sorry but the router is bad if you cannot access it and the reset button does not help.
