I BOUGHT A USED SUB YESTERDAY AND IT HAS POWER BUT NO AUDIO?

It's possible the output stage(s) of the amp are blown. Check all audio wiring connections to the amp, input and output, to make sure nothing is loose or disconnected. Also, try wiring up a different sub to verify it isn't the sub that's bad.

You have to tell it there is a sub then, tests the sub then make some bass management choices.

i am assuming that you bought this sub used? their could be a problem with your voice coil. the voice coil moves the cone of the speaker in and out. the problem with the voice coil is that it has become lose and is doping the impedance of the sub. A lose voice coil can be cause by over powering the sub. this problem is not fix able.

maybe it dont have enough to push it ,,did you try it before you buy it?

I just bought mine yesterday and have the same problem... did you find a solution (other than throwing it out the window)?

make sure sub is working .Power it up , remove sub RCA jacks from receiver .Gently tap on RCA with fingers.You should here a hum when touched .You can also try audio from TAPE REC OUT .If you dont get audio .Check setting at sub .If it working okay check setting at receiver and or sub level at receiver

system not configurate properly go to a pro and let them do for you you have good equipment just need to put together rite.for wht you have you can get better sound than that,,good luck
