I don't know if this will work for you, but...
if the slow cooker has buttons that you push to program it, press and hold the buttons down while you plug the slow cooker in. Hold them down for a long count of 10 and then release them. It might reset the logic inside. Good Luck

Corningware sc40 programmable slow cooker not heating

If your Corningware SC40 programmable slow cooker is not heating, there are a few things you can check:
  1. Check that the slow cooker is properly plugged in and the outlet is working.
  2. Check the temperature setting. Make sure the temperature is set to a level that should be producing heat.
  3. Check the lid. Make sure the lid is on securely and there are no gaps where heat can escape.
  4. Check the heating element. If the heating element is not working, the slow cooker will not heat up. You may need to replace the heating element or have it serviced by a professional.
If none of these solutions solve the problem, it may be best to contact the manufacturer or a professional appliance repair service for further assistance.

Not sure, but perhaps SEL means select? It may have had a power cut during the day and now you have restarted it, its waiting for you to select a programme??

What does the E8 error code on a Farberware pressure cooker mean?

The error code E8 means the pressure protection is not working; here is the link for the manual
https://www.hippressurecooking.com/farberware-7-in-1-programmable-1st-gen-pressure-cooker-manual/
The manual does not discuss possible reasons for this. I have to assume there is some kind of issue with the pressure release valve. take a look and see if it is stuck or there is some kind of buildup in or around it preventing it from operating. There is a manufacturers help line listed and the only thing they recommend is to call it. Hope this helps.

3 lights blinking on my sccpvc709-s

Someone suggested there is moisture under the pot. Use hair dryer to dry it up.
Other suggestion is if you press both the (Low/High/Warm) AND the (Off) buttons at the same time, the controls will revert to the proper state

The instruction manual does not say anything. But you can find the Crock Pot number to call.

I need an owners manual for the SCVC651

I couldn't find the specific manual for this, but I did find some basic instructions on a personal review:
"Rival calls this a SmartPot and describes this unit as "programmable". All this really means is that you can program the slow cooker to cook either on "High" or "Low" for up to 20 hours, in 30 minute increments and then it will automatically switch to the "Keep Warm" setting and keep your meal warm for hours. You cannot program multiple steps, such as going from the "High" to the "Low" setting. The red, LCD clearly displays the remaining cook time.
Simply plug in the slow cooker, and then push the clearly marked buttons (with a pleasant, audible tone) to move from "Low" to "High" to "Keep warm" settings. Then push the Timer Button to set the desired cook time."

Hopefully, this helps answer your questions!

Is there a timer I can purchase for the SC60?

A timer would probably work for a slow cooker with only a switch for low, medium or high on the front of the cooker, but this slow cooker requires that after you plug it into the wall you have to tell it how you want it to cook, it won't start cooking automatically. In other words, you have to press buttons to make it cook. Hope that's clear, I know sometimes I'm not.

It wont heat up and all the lights just keep blinking

I have the same problem EVERY time I want to use the crock pot. My solution has be patience. I find that if I turn it on, and the light blinks, but when i click it it will blink on 4 hours, then go back to the blinking light. By keeping the crock pot plugged in and off for about 10-15 minutes I was then able to set the crockpot up for cooking. As if the capacitors inside the unit needed power stored in them from the wall.
