I need instructions how to burn DVD's on Gatewat pc E series moniter in the DVD rom

you cant burn a disk with a dvd rom
you will need both a dvd rw unit and a dvd rw disk to burn any video to a disk if you have both of these the burning program might not support video burning or you might not have selected the right option there are lots of free burning software programs that can burn videos to a disk you might have to burn it as an ISO image

you have to determine if this is a codec issue or a dvd rom drive issue try to burn a cd using music files if that works but does not burn movies the you need a replacement dvd rom drive.

Sorry, but this device does not burn DVDs. It just reads them.

Go to device manager and check the DVD rom drive has been detected. Also check you have installed the drivers for the same.

do you have a dvd rom or a dvd-rw ?if its a dvd rom then you cant use it to burn discs if its a dvd-rw then it may have failed and need replaced

No it only has a CD read write and a DVD Rom player READ ONLY.

Your unit will read DVD only. TO burn DVD, you must purchase DVD burner

about your optical drive (dvd/cd rom) try to wipe its lens. if doenst work you need to replace it. while on your monitor,its ribbon wire need to be change... Thank you..
