• Description: Center Thermistor low temperature detection at printing
  In the period from printing to last rotation, Main Thermistor 2 detected a temperature of 80 deg C or lower for more than 1 second.
• Remedy: Fixing Assembly error, Fixing temperature detection error 1. Check failure between the DC Controller PCB (UN09/ J12) and the Fixing Assembly (UN37/ J123, UN13/ J13) (trapped cable, open circuit, connector disconnection). -> Replace the part in the case of trapped cable/open circuit 2. Replace the Fixing Assembly 3. Replace the DC Controller PCB (UN09) NOTE: After performing the above remedy work, go through the following to clear the error: COPIER > FUNCTION > CLEAR > ERR

Description

The sub thermistor detects about 295C or higher

Causes

The fixing film unit is faulty (i.e., the thermistor has a short circuit). The main power supply PCB is faulty. The DC controller PCB is faulty. Caution To clear the error, execute the following in service move: COPIER>FUNCTION>CLEAR>ERR.

Remedy

Check the interval between pin 1 and pin 2 and between pin 3 and pin 4 of the connectors (4-pin) of the thermistor for electrical continuity. Is it 0 W (short circuit)? YES: The thermistor has a short circuit. Replace the fixing film unit. If the thermistor has a short circuit, the indication in service mode (COPIER>DISPLAY>ANALOG) will be as follows from the start: FIXC= 250°C for the main thermistor; FIX-E=310°C for the sub thermistor. 2. Main power supply PCB, DC controller PCB Try replacing the main power supply PCB. Is the problem corrected? YES: End. NO: Replace the DC controller PCB.

and it looks as if your error is described as follows: Description The rise in temperature of the fixing assembly is faulty
While startup control is under way, the reading of the main thermistor is less than 115 deg C continuously for 400 msec 1.3 sec after it has indicated 100 deg C. While startup control is under way, the reading of the main thermistor is less than 150 deg C continuously for 400 msec 1.3 sec after it has indicated 140 deg C. Remedy Reset the condition in service mode: COPIER>FUNCTION>CLEAR> ERR. Replace the main thermistor. Replace the DC controller PCB.
