I have Print Shop 2.0 Prof using Windows 7. I get 'program has stopped working' messages when I attempt to do a project. Also, I am unable to open a project saved as a jpeg. I get the same 'program has stopped working' message. The program has stopped working or shut down when I am working on something as well, then I have to start over. Help.

1. Click Start, Programs, Accessories and Run.
2. In the open window, type: regedit and click OK.
3. Choose the following path
HKEY_CURRENT_USERS\Software\Corel\User\Assistant\13\Recent Work\Quattro
Pro\
4. Right click on the Quattro Pro folder, select delete.
5. Say yes when prompted to delete the key.
6. Close the Registry Editor
7. Launch Quattro Pro
This key will be re-created when you reopen Quattro Pro. I ran into this problem when when I tried to open a QP SS on my hard drive after previously opening one from my thumb drive. Now I copy to my hard drive first.

I have not used Print Shop in years but i always was able to save to a file then save it to a disc using cd writing software. Just take notice of where your files are being saved. I think you can use the save as function and choose a spot to save it for easy retrivial then close the print shop and open up cd writing software and save the project to a disc.

I just ran the Microsoft Office diagnostics and here was the result...my Office programs keep crashing because I have my HP printer set as the default printer. Here is exactly what the diagnostic told me...
"Temporary workaround available
This problem was caused by a known issue with your Hewlett-Packard printer
driver, which causes Microsoft Office 2007 programs to close unexpectedly when
your HP printer is set as the default printer. Hewlett-Packard is aware of the
problem and is working on a solution."
There solution is to set any other printer as the default printer instead of an HP...I hope this helps everyone.

MYOB requires that you have a default printer selected on your computer system. If no printer driver is installed, when opening a company file, a printer error #5 is displayed.
Highlight your Printer and go to File on then Menu bar/Set as default.and Turn off user account control if you're using vista. It's in your security center in the control panel. Turning this off should fix the printer error 5 issue .
