I cant open my compaq cq40?? what should i do ??

compaq is worst......i m also having the same problem with the LCD of my laptop compaq presario CQ40....wat to do????

If you want to remove hard drive of your unit. Be sure that do you have little idea to do it with your own. You need to remove first the screw of your unit to open the back cover. Once you are already open the cover, you can remove the hard drive slowly.

for vista u have to install sp37849

try to use windows xp sp2 with bootable
just make sure it is bootable.

Try downloading Hiren Boot CD and run you can resize the Harddisk accordingly.
