you could try to reload the firmware available at the link above they have guides available as well or if it still under warranty you might have them repair it
RTC means Real Time Clock, it is a hardware clock designed to count actual time. if this is faulty, things like playback and touch sensing will be affected.
It needs repairing unfortunately

You have to plug in the headphones. The head phones act as an antennae, therefore you need to be plugged in. YOu can still listen through the speakers, but keep the head phones plugged in.

Make sure you have a compatible OS - as in, not Vista; and then reformat the player - plugging it into another computer caused a formatting change.

Use Windows Media Player to make the playlists

1. Flip open the speakers.
2. Place the unit, screen down on a soft or linen free cloth
3. Take a paperclip and bend one side so that you have unbent the clip, giving you a straight line.
4. using the long edge of the paperclip, press the reset button on the left back side for about 5 seconds, then release.
