actual time. if this is faulty, things like playback and touch sensing
will be affected.

You have to plug in the headphones. The head phones act as an antennae, therefore you need to be plugged in. YOu can still listen through the speakers, but keep the head phones plugged in.
1. Flip open the speakers. 2. Place the unit, screen down on a soft or linen free cloth 3. Take a paperclip and bend one side so that you have unbent the clip, giving you a straight line. 4. using the long edge of the paperclip, press the reset button on the left back side for about 5 seconds, then release.
