A metal jewel fell off of the watch face and is loose on the dial

A metal jewel that represents "9" o'clock fell off of the watches face and is loose under the glass bezel and in the space in between.
How do I remove the glass bezel and re-attach the loose jewel?

I suggest you take it to a watch shop and ask them to repair it for you.

It can be more difficult than it appears to remove and replace backs particularly.

Fg8055s Elgin

So answering this many years after you posted. But I just found my sane watch in a drawer and decided to tinker with it. The watch is only part automatic. That works the second hand. The hour and minute hand runs on a battery. It's inside and under the auto part. One screw and you work see it. Easy fix.

Need to add links to a new Elgin watch band. The number on back of watch is SR626sw

That's the battery number for the watch also known as the #377. It's the most common watch battery in the world. Your model number is located at the bottom of the dial (face) below the six-o'clock position. You will need a 10 power jeweler's loupe or magnifying glass to see it and read it. Jot down the number and contact Elgin directly (MZ Berger Co,) for the extra links.

Have a waltham pocket watch in an illinois case enameled dial with a recessed seconds dial at bottom with a numeric 6. seconds on face also. can't find year or pic of this watch

If you go to the web site "www.antique-pocket-watch.com/waltham-pocket-watch.html", you will find information about Waltham watches and if you read the serial number off the movement (open the back and read it off the back plate), you may be able to find out the year of manufacture.

Connect metal strap to watch

If it brok at the hinge where the strap connects to the watch itself, then you might just need to replace the clip that slides in. Its a little metal tube with a spring in it. You should be able to find them at any retail shop. If all else fails, take it to a shop or jeweler.

Rhinestone fell out

No, this will not be covered on the warranty. You have to visit your nearest watch repair shop or jeweller and ask to fit a new stone. It is easy job and shouldn't cost too much.

My Tag Heuer sports watch has a fault with the face. The very thin dial has come loose and is moving within the glass.

Hi Due to the high value of this brand of timepiece, it would be advisable to contact a reputable jeweler who sells the brand, and have them repair it.
