Check and clean your LVDS lead that attaches to the LCD Tcon pcb in the centre top of the LCD.It may be dislodged on one side, and check the lead at the main pcb. If you have no joy with this replace your LCD Tcon pcb

You can have the a LCD controller (circuit board on the LCD panel where the flat connector from the digital/controller board is connected to) failure or the falt connector came loose. Check that out first.

Digital lifestyle tv mt322 power supply need 1500uf 16volt location on power supply

Here is a picture with the 1500uf cap circled in red. It really is best to replace all 7 capacitors with 25v parts not the original 16v ones, one later power supply builds they did this because the 16v caps failed to fast.

ViewSonic Optiquest Q19wb LCD Monitor goes blank after 2 secs. A couple of posts say replace the 1000uf 16v Cap, My problem is i can't find them on the pcb (where are they?)

sgcb1971, There are lots of pics on web for you to view and then you will know what to look for. Electrolytic filter capacitors are not to hard to spot on a "switch-mode-power-supply"/"ccfl inverter supply" combo board. Why don't you visit YOUTUBE for some video clips of "lcd monitor disassembly" and "lcd monitor repair" . Also try www.ccl-la.com/badcaps.htm for more clues as to just what to look for. Ya know , you need a soldering iron to replace them if they are bad!!! It's not like changing batteries in a flashlight 12fixlouie

I pushed the button next to the power button now i have no screen, i pu7shed the button again but to no avail, please help

Common failure is the caps in the inverter/power board, look for caps with bulging tops, see example of failed VIEWSONIC monitor due to bad caps: http://s807.photobucket.com/home/budm/allalbums

37mf23id magnavox takes 15 min to come on . its a magnavox which is made by philips

You need to replace the power board,Or replace the capactors on it.
Replacing the capactors is the best idea. They are under rated at 10volt insted of 16volt or higher. They cost less too. If you replace the board, you will still have the same problem again later. They are usualy 680uf 10v,1000uf 10v,2200uf 10v,and 3300uf 10v. Replace them with the same uf but 16v or 25v EXPANPLE use... 1000uf 16v or 1000uf 25v
They are polorised Blak spot on board is the - side of cap. Stripe on cap is -. The caps. swell if they are bad. The tops round out,or the X on top breaks anfand black or brown goo comes out. Top should be flat. It I can assist you further please feel free to ask. [email protected]

Power Indication Blinking But Nothing Happened Even After Unpluging Data cable. I think, this is monitor problem. Can anyone help me on this?

it seams the dell monitors have bad componets installed on the inverter/power board in side the LCD monitor there are 2 transistor part# c5705 that go bad and this is caused by bad caps 1000uf 16volt, 470uf 16volt, If you open the monitor case there are 2 small board the one you need to look at is the larger one.if you can solder in the replacment parts you can fix it for under 15.00 dollars. Or you can get the complete board for 39.00 dollars bluestar international has all the parts instock.or lookup this number to order ther whole board yahoo search for 715l1074-h will give you a lis of site that sell this part.I repair these board every day this is as common a problem and all dell flat screen will see this sooner or later the new parts are better then original and cure this problem making dell a good LCD monitor without any more problems

Viewsonic vp930b-3

Just as an FYI I have had the same problem with two of these units. Both purchased at the same time. First one went and would not come out of standby for a long period of time, then would not display on boot up. About 3 months after the first one started having the problem the second one was doing the same. Upon taking apart the second one I noticed two capacitors (250 micro farad, 25 volts) on the power supply at the connector going to the main board had a bulge. I decided to take the first monitor apart as well and the same two capacitors had problems. I replaced these with new capacitors and both monitors are now working like new. So in this case it was a power supply issue not allowing the monitors to wake up. This makes some sense since the problem started slowly at first then got worse and worse over time until there was no display no matter how long I waited. Since both were out of warranty I had nothing to lose. Hope this helps.
