Question about Krups Coffee Makers & Espresso Machines
I have a dolce gusto and i am unable to remove the coffee capsule. It seems stuck, as does the lever that punctures the capsule. If the valve lever is moved right or left nothing comes out. Please can you help?

We had a stuck pod in that the drawer was jammed. Turned the gusto upside down and was able to then remove

I had the same issue after leaving a pod in after making a drink. After a few days when I came to use it it was completely jammed. Nothing worked to remove it and I didn't want to force too much. I finally resolved the issue by running water through the pod that was stuck inside which passed the coffee inside down and allowed me to remove the pod. The issue is caused when the pods dry out in the machine and expand.

Just had exactly the same problem.. the tray seemed to be totally jammed and I was completely unable to open it.. I was just about to get pliers and screwdrivers when I found the solution.. basically you just need to pull the hatch on the top a little wider open, just gentle extra pressure and the tray opened easily.. gave the tray and inside a quick clean and all seems fine now.. hope this helps anyone else who has this problem..

Wow that was epic.I tried all of the above and thought i was going to have no luck. So i had the machine upside down with water running through the top.Then i saw the capsules underneath little plastic mould slip into the hole.so it seemed i had probably dislogded the capsule as well as it expanding. Turned it up and opened it. Now im going to let it dry out bf reusing it. Wish me luck.

In my case, i noticed that the hot/cold handle was not switching all the way to one of the sides, after softly moving it all the way, I was able to open the tray.
