Please check wheather your memry card memory is full or less than 5mb. because, in default whenever you recieve any file via bluetooth, the file automatically gets stored in Memory card.but when there is no free memory in card, it will divert the file to phone memory.

There are 2 Methods
1 is via Bluetooth other option is using a USB data cable
via Bluetooth - Switch on BT on both PC and phone. - Click on BT icon in the phone and select send a file or you may send directly by selecting the file. - Accept the file receiving via phone.
Via USB cable
- Connect the cable. - Select Mass Storage from the phone , when prompted. - Copy files to the newly installed removable drive (Which is phone's memory)

When i receive any file via bluetooth,it is saved as a message. As the phone memory is very less,i can't receive large files. how can i receive any file directly in memory card

Hi,
You cannot directly download to the memory card. This options is not there in this mobile.
Download the below software this will start saving your messages to the memory card.So when you receive some file you wont get out of memory message

http://www.ziddu.com/download/8277766/MsvDriveE.jpg.html

After you downloaded it, you'll find that you save fila named MsvDriveE.jpg. Don't worry! You just downloaded the right file. Rename the extention *.jpg, and change it to *.sis. Then you'll get MsvDriveE.sis then install it to your phones.

Thank you

When i transfer only 3mb of file to my nokia6300.it says operation failed.I think it may be due to less memory space in my memory card.I delete some file and now there is 400mb free memory in my memory...

try transferring directly to memory card using mmc reader if transfrin via pc if transferring via bluetooth chk wether the temp tranfered data is stored on ur phone memory or directly to ur mmc if its showin operation failed its most probably due to lack of phone memory

I can use my bluetooth when sending something out to another phone BUT CANNOT receive anything back via bluetooth

only two possibilities
1. You must have selected invisible to others in bluetooth option. kindly de-select it.
2. The path where the files are saved must be your phone memory which would be less thats why unable to receive bigger files try to receive smaller one if you get it then change the destination to your memory card.

I have just bought a new motorola zn200 yesterday and it is not able to receive mp3 files from my hp pavilion dv6000 laptop through bluetooth. it starts receiving and then in the middle it disconnects....

You have amemory space of 10MB in your phone & 20 MB in mass storage device. When you transfers any files through bluetooth, it goes to phone memory. so I think this problem occured due to insufficient memory. free up your phone memory and try again.

Nokia 6085 won't let me transfer files to my memory card

hi thanks for using fixya!

Usually, if you are going to received files via bluetooth it will ask you where you want to save the file, directly to memory card or phone memory, if the phone is not asking you, it is automatically will be saved in phone memory, you should check the phone's memory, that is why it is not accepting the transfer via bluetooth, Check the settings and make it saved to the memory card.

If you need further assitance, let me know!

Can't get any music or files sent to my nokia3110 via bluetooth

Hi lizzy2,
I am sure i know its solution.
There are 2 types of data storages in mobile phones. One is phone memory and another one is MMC.
In NOKIA s60s, all files sent via bluetooth is sent to the inbox.
But ur NOKIA is type of s40. i Think, so ur all music or files sent to ur mobile via bluetooth is received in ur folder "received files" in phone memory in gallery !
I m sure check out ur folder "received files". 1st go to gallery, and see there r many folders such as sounds, video clips, memory card, received files, themes. Go to that "received files" folder, and there is ur required files.

looking for ur kind feedback.
