Hi Guys,
I have a frigidaire electic oven - all four top elements work - the top element in the oven seems to work - am getting no heat on the bottom element - when I try to preheat the oven - there is no alert on the oven when the oven is up to its proper tempature. I suspect its a faulty bottom element.
Thoughts/comments?
I don't have a suggestion for your problem but maybe you can help with mine. I have a Kenmore electric oven/range and neither will produce heat. I've got power goin to the elements and the continuity across them is ok. Is there maybe a fuse in the control panel that may be blown or could it possibly be grounding out somewhere? It doesn't make sense to me that if the elements are ok and I've got power what could possibly be wrong. Any suggestions?

Hello Chris Hammond, thanks for your post!
Based off the information you have provided it sounds like a potential problem with your connector for your element within your Frigidaire wall oven. I would recommend reaching out to a professional technician for proper diagnosis repair to help avoid any unnecessary part purchases. Best of luck! -Matt

I tried preheating the oven which usually takes about 10 mins...and when I went to touch the bottom element - I felt no heat - I also noticed it has now broken in the corner of the element - in other words - it's now split - when I put the broil function on - I can see the top element red hot and no heat on the bottom element - obviously the bottom element is at fault? If it is the bottom element - is it just a matter of unscrewing the nuts on the back plate of the element and replacing the element and it should fix the problem?
Hi Guys,
I took the faulty element into home depot and got a replacement one - will install it tomorrow and everything should be licky spit...thanks for the help.

Have the same issue with my stove- frigidaire - only about 1 yr old and minimal use. Going to see if replacing the element fixes it.
THATS MY PROBLEM TOO
The oven is not heating properly since the sparks.
While surface elements work fine, the oven will only get warm. the top broil element will not heat at all
I push button for desired temp, but nothing is happening inside the oven. Neither heating element will heat.
Mt oven stopped working. looks like the heating element, but also the connector behind the element. Any suggestions?
